Description

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely root-cause solutions.
  • Repair and replace faulty components in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activity, parts usage, and equipment status.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site or in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and service schedules.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including gas and electric appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and refrigeration.
  • Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and efficient service delivery.
  • Completion of a technical school program in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or a related field.
  • Refrigeration knowledge is a plus.
