Description

  • Define and communicate the product vision for unifying platform concepts, modules, and capabilities across Heap, Contentsquare, and Hotjar.
  • Prioritize competing strategic goals to deliver complete product increments and avoid fragmented or wasteful work.
  • Translate ambiguous technical challenges into clear requirements, phased roadmaps, and executable plans.
  • Partner early with engineering leads on discovery, solution design, and technical decision-making.
  • Work across Query Engine, Segmentation, Tagging, Mobile, and Data Infrastructure teams to align dependencies and execution.
  • Balance technical debt, scalability, cost, customer needs, and business priorities in product decisions.
  • Establish success metrics and use data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and cross-team risks before work begins.
  • Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, peer product managers, and engineering counterparts.
  • Act as a force multiplier through clear frameworks, proactive communication, and unblocking teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 3-5 years in technical or platform product roles.
  • Experience shipping multiple large-scale technical initiatives involving data infrastructure, query engines, or foundational platform capabilities.
  • Experience leading product initiatives across 3+ engineering teams.
  • Ability to balance tactical quarterly execution with a 6-18 month strategic roadmap.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, query engines, data modeling, database architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Strongly preferred background in analytics products, BI tools, or data infrastructure.
  • Preferred previous experience as an engineer or deep technical background in SQL, database systems, or data modeling.
  • Preferred track record in B2B SaaS products serving enterprise customers.
  • Preferred experience managing products across backend, data, and frontend engineering disciplines.
