Description

  • Own information systems projects end to end and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Research and define project scope when requirements are unclear, then correct course as needed during delivery.
  • Plan and run project meetings, track progress and issues, and report status to management.
  • Coordinate implementation of systems and tools across business operations teams, end users, and technical experts.
  • Apply structured project management practices while adapting between Agile and Waterfall approaches as needed.
  • Ask questions, analyze subject matter, and challenge assumptions to improve project outcomes.
  • Keep stakeholders and executive sponsors informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify the best solutions that support company goals and operational efficiency.
  • Assess the suitability of existing systems and tools and help modify or replace them when appropriate.
  • Drive work that brings valuable solutions rather than simply coordinating schedules and meetings.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience running both Agile and traditional Waterfall projects for internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading projects or teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to listen to stakeholder needs, understand underlying requirements, and prioritize work for maximum benefit.
  • Ability to develop a big-picture view of company priorities and connect project work to business impact.
  • Comfort working on unfamiliar subject matter and performing independent research.
  • Ability to quickly answer detailed questions about a project without relying on notes.
