Description

  • Provide customer service by answering phone calls and emails from the mortgage lending industry and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
  • Use mortgage industry knowledge and internal knowledge bases to research and resolve client requests.
  • Follow standard operating procedures across topics, systems, and contact channels.
  • Document all customer interactions in the case or contact database.
  • Stay current on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems and applications to support client inquiries.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders through verbal and written channels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years working with FHA loans, such as a loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, or loan officer, plus 1 additional year of customer service or contact center experience.
  • Alternatively, at least 3 years of loan origination experience with conventional loans and/or government-backed loans such as FHA, USDA, or VA.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and dependability.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.
  • Contact center experience, including omnichannel support, preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills, verbal and written, preferred.
  • FHA knowledge and experience, preferred.
