Description

  • Lead the product design process from discovery through delivery for Searchandizing features.
  • Design end-to-end interfaces and systems that let merchandisers fine-tune ranking and recall across Search and Browse experiences.
  • Create intuitive rule builders and automation for promotions to speed up merchandiser workflows.
  • Visualize ranking impact, conflicts, and real-time cause-and-effect on items, positions, and page metrics.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and merchandisers to translate complex, high-leverage workflows into usable tools.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, usability tests, and data analysis, to inform design decisions.
  • Prototype, iterate, and ship high-impact features quickly to enable rapid experimentation with personalization and AI-assisted suggestions.
  • Define scalable design systems, spot patterns, and turn ambiguous problems into structured, reusable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading the design process from discovery to delivery.
  • Goal-oriented, iterative mindset with comfort learning, improving, and shipping quickly.
  • Practical experience conducting user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Experience designing for unfamiliar, complex workflows—especially in B2B contexts.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into structure and design scalable, reusable solutions and systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills working with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience with search, merchandising, personalization, or e-commerce workflows and metrics (net revenue, add-to-cart rate, RPV, retention).
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI-assisted suggestions and enabling rapid experimentation.
