Description

  • Build and improve systems that measure and enhance search relevance and quality.
  • Fine-tune LLMs to assess relevance and align model judgments with real user behavior.
  • Develop models and workflows that understand query intent and messy catalog data.
  • Implement real-time production quality components such as reranking, filtering, and signal computation.
  • Balance quality and latency constraints in production search systems.
  • Create automated monitoring pipelines to detect quality degradations and underperforming patterns.
  • Develop agentic systems that generate actionable recommendations for product data and search configurations.
  • Perform deep offline analysis of query logs to identify relevance and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ranking, product, and data engineering.
  • Design and run A/B tests to validate model impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience shipping production ML systems.
  • Experience with search, information retrieval, or recommendation systems.
  • Hands-on experience with fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and scaling LLM deployments.
  • Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
  • Fluency in SQL and data orchestration tools such as Spark and Airflow.
  • Experience designing and running A/B tests.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with ranking, product, or data engineering teams (preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-domain, multi-language environments at scale (preferred).

  • Base salary of $80k–$120k USD, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and interview results.
