Description

  • Act as a technical partner to customers during onboarding and integration, providing guidance via calls and hands-on collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot customer integrations asynchronously, review implementations, validate data quality, and proactively monitor integration health to catch and resolve issues early.
  • Ship and maintain open-source TypeScript/React UI libraries used in retail experiences worldwide.
  • Expand and maintain test coverage for open-source REST client SDKs that handle billions of requests daily.
  • Write clear documentation, sample apps, and tutorials to shorten customers' time-to-value.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Customer Success, Data Science, and other engineering teams to prioritize features and address customer needs.
  • Champion Developer Experience by creating intuitive tools, reference examples, and comprehensive documentation for integrations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years professional and/or academic experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and React (TypeScript experience is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to triage issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with automated testing fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and design patterns quickly.
  • Ability to work between PST and GMT+1 time zones.
  • Enjoys interacting with customers daily and working closely with internal teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Java, .NET, Python, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).

  • Base salary range: $80k–$120k USD, depending on experience and interview results.
