Description

  • Design, build, and maintain distributed backend systems using Go and cloud/data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, sales, enterprise partners, AI teams, and frontend engineers to define and deliver customer-facing features.
  • Own key platform areas such as messaging orchestration, data pipelines, and API integrations.
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and operational excellence across services.
  • Define, track, and iterate on performance metrics to improve product and business outcomes.
  • Work asynchronously with global teams and maintain clear communication and documentation.
  • Plan and manage your own workstream while balancing deadlines, quality, and innovation.
  • Mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience building and scaling enterprise systems with Go, AWS, Kafka, Postgres, and/or DynamoDB.
  • Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Experience with frontend engineering technologies such as React and TypeScript is a plus.
  • Prior experience developing or deploying WhatsApp conversational applications is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric environments, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech company.
  • Based in Europe and available for a remote-first role with occasional team offsites.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of system design, concurrency, and data consistency.
