Description

  • Design, build, and maintain IICS ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate source-system data into the warehouse.
  • Develop and optimize data models and structures in Amazon Redshift.
  • Write production-quality SQL and Python for data transformation, validation, and workflow automation.
  • Build and support Power BI data models for reporting and dashboards.
  • Implement data-quality checks and validation logic to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Document data flows, models, and pipeline logic for handoff and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and the CompassX team.
  • Translate technical work into business context while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
  • Experience using Amazon Redshift as a data warehouse.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering workflows.
  • Experience building Power BI data models and applying reporting-layer data-modeling best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure; AWS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data quality and validation, particularly in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with client stakeholders.
  • Experience as an independent contractor comfortable with short-term, project-based engagements.
  • Familiarity with Veeva or pharma/life sciences environments preferred.
