Description

  • Develop and engineer internal solutions that support core business operations.
  • Design, deploy, and monitor automation services between business systems.
  • Review, analyze, and streamline existing business processes and systems.
  • Support the design, deployment, and management of core business systems.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new products and the ongoing improvement of DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and operations organizations to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Develop organizational standards, policies, procedures, and best practices for DevOps environments.
  • Own release management activities to support controlled and successful deployments.
  • Maintain version control systems and associated processes.
  • Create and maintain technical and operational documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of DevOps experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience working with open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, and JVM-based server environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, PHP, Perl, and/or Ruby.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations best practices in highly available, production-critical environments.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and own assigned projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
  • AWS architecture certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship or transfer, including CPT/OPT.
