Description

  • Prepare and facilitate weekly live, interactive virtual classes for cohorts of 10-15 candidates.
  • Use a candidate-centered approach to engage learners and support participation in class activities.
  • Evaluate candidate work using rubrics and provide substantive, relevant feedback within 48 hours of submission.
  • Provide guidance and scaffolding on content and technology use to individual candidates as needed.
  • Track candidate progress to ensure they are keeping up with assigned work and attending virtual classes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate attendance records in the learning platform and follow up as needed.
  • Participate in and monitor the discussion forum for the assigned cohort.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to candidates throughout the course experience.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to improve and expand program delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher; doctorate required for teaching in the master’s program.
  • At least 3 years of highly effective teaching experience.
  • Experience with online instruction and adult learning.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration among adult learners.
  • High motivation and strong problem-solving skills in an autonomous work environment.
  • Professional, clear, and respectful verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adeptness in learning new technologies and systems.
  • Global awareness and cultural competence.
