Description

  • Collaborate with product designers, engineers, UX researchers, and product managers to define problems and iterate on solutions.
  • Develop and execute UI/UX design solutions that address user and business needs.
  • Carry visual design work from concept through final hand-off to engineering.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas.
  • Communicate design proposals and key milestones to peers and team members.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers on user tests and interviews to uncover insights.
  • Assist in maintaining the design system so work aligns with platform and development practices.
  • Support experimentation, measurement, and analysis for data-driven decision making.
  • Assist in monitoring user reactions and metrics after new features launch.
  • Maintain design guidelines, standards, and templates, and support ad hoc company tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Must be based in Malaysia or Singapore; only local candidates from Malaysia and Singapore are accepted.
  • Must be either a current bachelor’s degree student or a fresh graduate within one year of graduation.
  • A portfolio of UI/UX design work that shows process and solutions, not just final visuals.
  • Relevant past internship experience in UI/UX design is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of design principles such as typography, composition, hierarchy, proportion, patterning, and color theory.
  • Knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, prototyping, visual design, user-centered experience design, and interaction design.
  • Familiarity with using Figma and design systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
  • Experience working well in teams and communicating clearly with others.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision after 3 months.
  • Strong interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, memecoins, and metaverse topics.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind, or Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools such as v0, Claude, or ChatGPT is a plus; experience styling with Tailwind or building UI with React is even better.

Benefits

  • Malaysia-based internship allowance of RM2,100 per month, including RM1,500 monthly allowance and RM600 meal allowance.
  • Singapore-based internship allowance of SGD1,400 per month, including SGD1,000 monthly allowance and SGD400 meal allowance.
