Description

  • Explore and apply advanced machine learning techniques, including LLMs and deep learning, to solve complex organizational challenges.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and turn them into quarterly execution plans.
  • Drive project execution by managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Develop high-quality, well-tested Python code to address critical product and business needs.
  • Design scalable, secure systems using modern AI/ML technologies and best practices.
  • Mentor team members on design principles, coding standards, and AI productivity tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Review feature designs across teams to ensure security, scalability, and architectural integrity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, especially in data processing, machine learning, or analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one model type such as LLMs, GNNs, deep learning, logistic regression, or gradient boosting trees.
  • Proficiency in one or more of data mining, information retrieval, advanced statistics, natural language processing, or computer vision.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that addresses customer needs.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers and setting high standards for excellence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to open and transparent practices.
  • Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean in daily workflows.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Experience with GenAI frameworks/tools and technologies such as Apache Airflow, Spark, Flink, Kafka/Kinesis, Snowflake, and Databricks (preferred).
  • Familiarity with model interpretability and responsible AI practices (preferred).
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization (preferred).

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $218,025 to $256,500 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
  • Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Remote-first roles with required in-person participation for team and company offsites throughout the year.
