Description

  • Partner with the Head of Growth Engineering, engineering managers, and product managers to define and build mission-critical growth systems.
  • Build foundational platforms such as incentives, notifications, and dynamic presentation systems.
  • Build and scale user experiences across SEO, logged-out experiences, onboarding, search, discovery, and referrals.
  • Drive a holistic engineering strategy that improves quality and excellence across the organization.
  • Develop features, products, and systems that consistently deliver user value throughout the Coinbase journey.
  • Rapidly launch, iterate, and optimize new and existing growth features and products.
  • Build resilient and scalable systems that support growth at scale and accelerate future iteration.
  • Work across the web, mobile, backend, data, and machine learning stack.
  • Solve large-scale, highly complex technical problems at the intersection of web-scale applications and blockchain technology.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to drive multi-quarter roadmaps with complex dependencies inside and outside the Growth team.
  • Proven horizontal technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
  • Ability to drive quality and performance across complex systems at scale.
  • Understanding of metrics and SLOs that reflect product quality and how to improve them.
  • Experience building products and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work across all parts of the stack (preferred).
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Growth Engineering (preferred).
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
  • Motivation to deliver meaningful business impact (preferred).

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $253,895 to $298,700 USD.
  • Total compensation may include equity.
