Description

  • Develop next-generation audit practices within a global internal audit team.
  • Execute end-to-end technology and security audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation validation.
  • Assess regulatory requirements affecting information technology, security, and financial services operations.
  • Prepare executive-level audit reports that document findings and supporting evidence.
  • Develop practical solutions to issues identified during audits.
  • Manage and support internal audit staff and conduct ad hoc investigations, audits, and reviews.
  • Track management responses and verify the timeliness and adequacy of remediation actions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of internal control, technology, security, products, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare materials for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Lead periodic control certifications and validate the effectiveness of documented controls.
  • Build trusted relationships with business unit leaders across the organization.
  • Work with first and second lines of defense to improve testing efficiency and control coverage.
  • Advise business partners on audit findings and risk mitigation opportunities while preserving independence.
  • Support responses to regulatory inquiries related to internal audit matters.
  • Educate process owners on controls and the role of Internal Audit.
  • Promote process, technology, and infrastructure improvements through innovative execution methods.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in internal audit with a heavy focus on technology, IT, and information security, or related first-line operational, technology, software development, or security experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in an internal audit manager role managing processes and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, a related IT or security field, and/or accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technology stacks, software and application development lifecycles, cloud configurations, security services, and enterprise technology operations and controls.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to quality, accuracy, and detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional Internal Audit, IT, or Security certification such as CISA or CFE is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors practice is preferred.
  • Understanding of international regulatory requirements for information technology and security is preferred.
  • Experience in crypto, payments, or financial services auditing is preferred.
  • Experience working with outsourced or co-sourced internal audit functions is preferred.
  • Ability to work across functions and time zones is preferred.

Benefits

  • Target annual base salary range of $130,900 to $154,000 USD.
  • Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility.
