Description

  • Support the execution of AML/CFT program requirements, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory AML reports such as AML risk assessments, FIU/LE responses, and AML questionnaires.
  • Maintain and improve AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls in line with AMLD and local requirements.
  • Support SAR/STR preparation and filing, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Perform KYC/CDD/EDD quality assurance reviews and handle escalations as needed.
  • Execute compliance monitoring and testing activities under the Compliance Monitoring Plan using a risk-based methodology.
  • Document test results, identify control gaps, track remediation actions, and prepare monitoring reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Central Compliance Testing & Assurance to align on second-line testing standards and coverage.
  • Support regulatory horizon scanning and assess the impact of new or emerging regulations.
  • Maintain compliance registers, governance documentation, compliance frameworks, and materials for internal governance bodies.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Compliance, preferably in Luxembourg or an EU-regulated environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of EU financial regulations, including MiCA, PSD2, MiFID II, PSD, AMLD, DORA, and GDPR.
  • Experience interacting with regulators and auditors.
  • Experience in policy drafting and compliance monitoring/testing.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; French is a plus.
  • Strong ownership, positive energy, and a Deliver Results/Efficient Execution mindset.
  • Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean in daily workflows, with human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Experience supporting consumer protection monitoring, including conflict of interest, transparency, and disclosure requirements, is preferred.
