Description

  • Own, advance, and champion Blink's enterprise Compliance Program, including the code of conduct, conflicts-of-interest, gifting, and whistleblower/reporting frameworks.
  • Lead the compliance operating cadence, including weekly reviews and compliance committee follow-through.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel on program status and emerging risks.
  • Own the HIPAA compliance program, including policies, procedures, authorizations, revocation processes, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain practical guardrails and job aids for Data, Engineering, and IT teams to handle PHI correctly.
  • Monitor and operationalize privacy and consumer-protection requirements, including HIPAA, FTC, and state privacy laws.
  • Investigate and document compliance and privacy concerns, including HIPAA incidents and unauthorized disclosures, and oversee remediation plans.
  • Manage intake and response for medical-records and legal-process requests in coordination with Legal Operations.
  • Lead responses to security and compliance audits and certifications, including SOC 2 and HITRUST, and support client or partner audits.
  • Manage consumer and patient complaints, privacy-rights requests, and state Attorney General consumer-protection complaints.
  • Administer exclusion and sanctions screening programs, including OIG/SAM/OFAC screening and investigation of potential hits.
  • Partner with Pharmacy Operations and Clinical teams on quality, error-handling, adverse-event reporting, and pharmacovigilance support.
  • Support compliance for patient-assistance and manufacturer-sponsored programs, including enrollment and unenrollment processes.
  • Oversee compliance education and training for employees and help develop related content and curricula.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on policies and standard operating procedures that support a culture of compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, legal, privacy, or risk-management roles.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or the pharmaceutical supply chain is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and health-information privacy.
  • Familiarity with FTC and state privacy or consumer-protection laws.
  • Understanding of Medicare, medical reimbursement, and third-party payor regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with compliance operations, including investigations, incident response, policy and SOP development, training, and recordkeeping.
  • Experience supporting audits and security/compliance certifications such as SOC 2 and HITRUST is strongly preferred.
  • Experience responding to client, regulator, or Attorney General inquiries is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with OIG/SAM/OFAC exclusion and sanctions screening and compliance tooling.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose practical, business-minded solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deliver on time.
