Description

  • Lead the design and maintenance of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Build and evolve comprehensive automated test suites for APIs and frontends.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and identify risks early.
  • Review test scripts deeply and mentor L1/L2 QA engineers to raise team quality standards.
  • Identify edge cases and reduce manual testing overhead through scalable automation.
  • Drive a quality-first culture within the POD.
  • Ensure system reliability and improve test coverage and feedback speed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
  • Advanced proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one automation programming language: Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Deep experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Understanding of Git and CI/CD integration for automated testing.
  • Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal, for collaboration with US-based clients.
  • Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
  • Experience with automated testing across API, web, and mobile layers (preferred).
