Description

  • Lead the design and maintenance of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Build and evolve comprehensive automated test suites for APIs, web frontends, and mobile layers.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases.
  • Work closely with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and identify risks early.
  • Deeply review test scripts and mentor L1/L2 QA engineers to raise team quality standards.
  • Own the quality strategy and help reduce manual testing overhead through scalable automation.
  • Promote a quality-first culture within the team and improve feedback loop speed.
  • Identify edge cases and ensure system reliability for mission-critical applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
  • Advanced proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one automation programming language: Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Deep experience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Understanding of Git and CI/CD integration for automated testing.
  • Advanced English proficiency in written and verbal communication for collaboration with US-based clients.
  • Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
