Description

Own end-to-end execution of complex digital products across multiple client accounts.
Provide architectural oversight by reviewing, challenging, and adjusting technical proposals and decisions.
Jump into the codebase to help resolve critical blockers when needed.
Define and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and delivery cadences.
Drive adoption of cloud-native, microservices, and API-first architectures while preserving implementation rigor.
Make pragmatic trade-offs between technical debt, velocity, and scalability and defend those decisions to stakeholders.
Own the Software Development Life Cycle from planning through incident response and retrospectives.
Manage capacity, velocity, and budgets across parallel workstreams.
Identify, surface, and mitigate technical and delivery risks before they impact clients.
Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 8–15 engineers.
Serve as the primary technical contact for CTOs and VPs of Engineering.
Translate business goals into engineering priorities and identify account growth opportunities through technical solutions.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building scalable systems.
3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager.
Hands-on expertise with at least one core stack: Java, Python, or Node.js.
Ability to conduct deep-dive code reviews.
Solid experience with cloud-native, microservices, and API design.
Experience managing senior stakeholders at the C-level or VP level in a consulting or digital transformation environment.
Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
Direct delivery experience with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.
Exposure to data platforms, AI/ML product delivery, or advanced DevSecOps practices is preferred.
Background in large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs is preferred.
