Description

  • Capture data from OPC servers on Windows and edge devices on Linux in an industrial plant environment.
  • Design, build, operate, and take end-to-end ownership of the edge infrastructure and data pipelines.
  • Ensure telemetry is delivered intact, in real time, and reliably from the plant floor to AWS.
  • Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure components involved in industrial connectivity and streaming data flow.
  • Collaborate with international teams and partners to execute complex technical projects.
  • Make technical decisions across the solution lifecycle, from architecture to execution.
  • Support projects that contribute to digital transformation and business-critical analytics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineer roles.
  • 3+ years of advanced experience with Terraform.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS IoT Core or AWS Greengrass.
  • Expert-level Linux knowledge, including administration, hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of industrial networks, including Windows/OPC and plant connectivity.
  • Preferred: 1-2+ years of experience with AWS IoT SiteWise.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of industrial protocols such as MQTT and OPC-UA.
  • Preferred: Experience with time-series databases such as TimescaleDB or Timestream.
  • Preferred: Background in industrial IoT projects or real-time telemetry.
  • Preferred: AWS certifications such as IoT Specialty or Solutions Architect.
