Description

  • Build channel-specific social media playbooks, policies, and content plans aligned with marketing and mission goals.
  • Run always-on cross-channel content calendars with a mix of original and curated content tailored to each platform and audience.
  • Track emerging trends, platform changes, and audience behavior and incorporate relevant insights into the social strategy.
  • Lead agency collaboration to strengthen strategy and execution.
  • Grow the online community through authentic conversations, timely responses, proactive engagement, and issue escalation.
  • Amplify executive presence and thought leadership through strategic social coverage of conferences, keynotes, and high-visibility events.
  • Develop and execute social promotion for livestreams, webinars, workshops, and other live events.
  • Identify, build, and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, organizations, and community groups.
  • Partner with designers, copywriters, and other creators to produce engaging multimedia content.
  • Work with advertising and PR leads on social advertising, influencer relations, and outreach opportunities.
  • Translate platform analytics into clear insights and action with the Marketing Analytics team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years leading large online communities, with demonstrated growth and engagement results.
  • Proven experience building and running cross-channel content calendars across audiences.
  • Fluency with social media platforms and their management and analytics tools.
  • Current interest in AI and computer science, with the ability to create credible content for educator and technical audiences without overselling the technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across internal teams and with external partners and agencies.
  • Experience managing influencer engagement, social ads, or live events is a bonus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must work within the continental United States.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events.

  • Expected salary range of $101,000 to $113,000.
