Description

  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts across web, mobile, and backend systems.
  • Perform manual and applicable automated functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify edge cases, usability issues, and defects through thorough testing.
  • Evaluate products from end-user, QA, and product-owner perspectives.
  • Document defects clearly so developers can reproduce and resolve them efficiently.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers throughout sprint and release cycles.
  • Advocate for quality from requirements gathering through post-release monitoring.
  • Own end-to-end testing for assigned features and validate release quality.
  • Recommend improvements to QA processes, testing strategies, and tools.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on QA experience, including software testing, test case creation, and defect management.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with familiarity with the SDLC.
  • Experience using QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Strong communication skills for documenting bugs and collaborating with development teams.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman (preferred).
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment (preferred).
  • Full-time availability for 40 hours per week, aligned with 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
  • English resume following the Coconut VA Profile template, CEFR proficiency rating, and a one-minute introduction video.
