Description

  • Perform manual penetration testing of web applications, APIs, internal and external networks, and iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Work as part of a pentest team and collaborate directly with clients.
  • Document assessment, audit, test, and verification results in detail.
  • Perform manual validation of vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct mobile and web application pentesting focused on OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in technical skills assessments and onboarding activities as part of the application and setup process.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA and reside within the USA.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of pentesting or similar experience.
  • Professional demeanor and respectful communication style.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in work quality.
  • Deep understanding of application security.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
  • Freelance, part-time availability is required.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, including CREST, PenTest+, GPEN, CEH, OSCP, AWS, CISSP, eCPPT, eWAPT, OSCE, and OSWE.
  • Preference may be given to applicants referred by other Cobalt Core pentesters.
