Description

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to extract insights that improve risk management decisions.
  • Build predictive models and algorithms for risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Implement robust data-driven strategies to strengthen fraud detection and compliance processes.
  • Collaborate with risk analysts, software engineers, and other teams to enhance risk management strategies.
  • Translate data science methods into scalable practical solutions for fintech risk operations.
  • Create data visualizations, charts, and dashboards to communicate findings.
  • Work autonomously in a fully remote, distributed team while coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, especially Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong data visualization skills for building charts and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong research mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate and debate effectively in English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in the financial or payments industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel computing is preferred.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and containerization is preferred.
