Description

  • Build greenfield projects and continuously evolve existing systems.
  • Design and implement microservice-based architectures.
  • Scope, design, and deliver systems end to end with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Maintain strong system quality, reliability, and performance across iterations.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and feature planning.
  • Write and review technical designs, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates in a remote but highly synchronous environment.
  • Identify problems early, propose solutions, and deliver clean, performant code.
  • Stay current with modern technologies and incorporate relevant approaches into day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable, efficient, reliable, and secure code.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and engineering approaches.
  • Experience designing complex systems, ideally with microservice architecture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for building great software.
  • Node.js experience.
  • Angular experience.
  • Kubernetes experience.
  • AWS experience.
  • Experience with MySQL or MariaDB.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience with automated testing practices.
  • Knowledge of software design principles.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Nice to have: NestJS.
  • Nice to have: Kafka.
  • Nice to have: Terraform.
