Description

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and plan for Japan.
  • Drive sales activity in Japan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
  • Manage contract negotiations with customers and partners.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Recruit, develop, and work with channel partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction across the territory.
  • Travel to assigned territories as required, with travel expected to be under 60%.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of territory or enterprise sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English.
  • Direct experience selling network security or SaaS.
  • Direct experience selling to enterprise accounts as the lead seller and relationship owner.
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal communication, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Existing network of contacts within Japan, including small and mid-sized companies and relevant channel partners such as systems integrators, value-added resellers, and MSPs.
  • Ability to work from Tokyo, with remote work listed as part of the employment location.

  • Working hours are 9am to 6pm with a noon to 1pm rest period.
  • Weekends and national holidays are off.
  • Overtime work may be required.
