Description

  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support.
  • Identify customer initiatives and business problems and map them to Cloudflare solutions.
  • Build relationships and technical champions within customer accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos for enterprise customers and prospects.
  • Lead proof-of-concept trials and demo activities for customers.
  • Create professional content such as white papers, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity, and industry events.
  • Advise customers on best practices using vertical or domain expertise.
  • Translate technical concepts for audiences ranging from engineers to IT managers and executives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or in another customer-facing technical role in CDN, security, networking, or SaaS.
  • Solid communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects and activities concurrently.
  • Highly driven, curious, team-oriented, and able to work with urgency.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and teammate collaboration.
  • Fundamental understanding of customer network and/or application architectures (preferred).
  • Experience with hybrid architectures involving Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred).
  • Knowledge or experience in application and/or network security, SaaS environments, VPN/remote access, SIEM/log analytics, or client OS fundamentals (preferred).
  • Experience communicating with senior leaders and executives about network and security transformation (preferred).
  • Graduate-level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a bonus point, not a strict requirement.
  • Certifications such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Architect are a bonus point, not a strict requirement.
