Description

  • Own the product vision for the Cloudflare WAN area and ensure alignment with the overall product and company vision.
  • Represent customers by building relationships, championing their needs, and bringing customer feedback into the product creation process.
  • Manage the product roadmap, make prioritization decisions, and maintain an accurate roadmap for stakeholders.
  • Author use cases and translate market observations and customer feedback into a prioritized product backlog.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, support, sales, and other stakeholders to create alignment and ship products.
  • Define, own, and track product success measures throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate and coordinate with a global team, including occasional calls outside normal working hours.
  • Drive the product forward in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment with strong attention to execution and detail.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager shipping enterprise-class software, or relevant experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of L3-L7 networking, including routing protocols, common network architectures, and secure connectivity in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience working with multiple disciplines such as design, engineering, support, sales, and decision makers to ship software.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, including empathy, problem solving, and clear, succinct communication.
  • Ability to use tools such as Postman or curl with RESTful Web APIs, and Terraform for automated provisioning of cloud networking resources.
  • Experience with up-to-date AI tools, including agents and IDEs, for vibecoding and prototyping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with modern SASE or SSE solutions, either building or implementing, is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures is preferred.
  • Active participation in industry conferences, publications, or open-source projects related to networking or security is preferred.

  • Estimated annual salary of $156,000 to $215,000 for Colorado, Hawaii, and Illinois hires.
  • Estimated annual salary of $172,000 to $237,000 for New York City, New Jersey, Washington, Washington DC, and California hires.
  • Estimated annual salary of $179,000 to $246,000 for Bay Area-based hires.
  • Eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
