Description

  • Own and execute critical territory and account plans to architect and close large-scale platform sales within strategic accounts.
  • Consistently exceed multi-million dollar sales targets and annual quotas through proactive pipeline management and precision forecasting.
  • Engage and influence C-suite executives (CIOs, CISOs, CTOs) and apply executive sponsorship programs to advance and close complex opportunities.
  • Lead and orchestrate cross-functional virtual teams (including Product Managers, VPs, and SVPs) to remove roadblocks and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Map customer enterprise architecture (business, data, applications, technology) to Cloudflare solutions and position Cloudflare within modern cloud operating models.
  • Act as the primary advisor on customers’ digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities from market trends and shaping long-term strategic relationships.
  • Provide strategic communication and feedback across departments to align messaging, review performance, and improve organizational outcomes.
  • Define quarterly team goals and metrics, review results, and drive efficiency by addressing interdependencies and operational roadblocks.
  • Drive company-wide innovation by challenging the status quo, surfacing learnings, and proposing solutions that improve efficiency and long-term impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years selling complex, multi-million dollar B2B enterprise technology solutions with a consistent track record of exceeding quota.
  • Established experience and network in the Financial Services vertical in Germany.
  • Expert-level understanding of customer Enterprise Architecture across business, data, applications, and technology and ability to map solutions to modern cloud operating models.
  • Proven experience engaging and influencing CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs and managing executive sponsorship programs.
  • Proven track record leading and orchestrating virtual teams that include senior executives (VPs and SVPs) to close strategic opportunities.
  • Exceptional strategic communication, negotiation, and presentation skills and the ability to provide executive-level education on product and security topics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in sales and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, G Suite, Microsoft suite, MEDDPICC).
  • Ability to travel extensively as required to engage with key customers and internal teams.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Demonstrated experience positioning vendor solutions as strategic platform bets and making long-term, visionary decisions for customers and the company.
