Description

  • Ship and deliver security-focused projects over a 12-16 week internship with autonomy and support.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with a mentor to develop security expertise and support career goals.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and help harden Cloudflare's infrastructure.
  • Build tools that protect billions of Internet users.
  • Present the security project to the entire company at the end of the internship.
  • Write about security work for the Cloudflare blog and contribute to Cloudflare.tv sessions.
  • Build a network across the company through socials, networking programs, ERG programs, and activity groups.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10, common attack vectors such as XSS, SQLi, and CSRF, and how to mitigate them.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a drive to learn and adapt new technologies.
  • Curiosity, empathy, and the ability to get things done.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum 12-week summer internship.
  • Ability to be in the office 3-5 days a week in the internship location.
  • Must be local to London; relocation is not provided.
  • Passion for security and software development, such as personal projects, open-source contributions, or experience with Cloudflare for Students, is a bonus.
  • Position may require access to information subject to U.S. export control laws, and any offer may be conditioned on export authorization without sponsorship.
