Description

  • Partner with account executives to lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and proof of concepts.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion.
  • Own the long-term technical relationship and align customer business goals with Cloudflare’s product roadmap.
  • Carry a quota tied to new business acquisition, account growth, platform adoption, and revenue retention.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data.
  • Lead technical quarterly business reviews to communicate return on investment to executive stakeholders.
  • Use AI-augmented workflows and internal platforms to automate routine work such as RFP responses, sandbox provisioning, and telemetry monitoring.
  • Translate technical implementation details into business outcomes for customers and C-level executives.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing technical experience in Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
  • Years of experience vary by level, including Associate, Senior, Staff, or Principal roles.
  • Broad technical knowledge of web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience working in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, enterprise sales cycles, and business value translation.
  • Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare’s developer platform, including Workers AI and AI Gateway, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for scripts, API connectors, and edge functions is preferred.
  • Must be based in Mumbai.
