Description

  • Lead and coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams for the solar and storage industry association initiative.
  • Maintain and refine the Solar and Storage Industry Association Strategy to reflect changing market, policy, and industry conditions.
  • Support GETI program leads to ensure deliverables, outputs, and outcomes stay aligned with the initiative strategy.
  • Prioritize and coordinate global, regional, and national convenings with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point for solar associations, organizational development, communications, and GETI program teams.
  • Play a significant role in funder engagement, including organizing briefings and coordinating internal and external communications.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, top-line messages, and written reports for funders and stakeholders.
  • Collect, synthesize, and communicate updates from grantees through regional leads.
  • Support strategic communications by developing policy-maker-friendly briefings and written materials.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, learning repositories, and bi-annual monitoring and learning reports.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of relevant professional experience, including 7+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience working with trade associations or at the intersection of the public and private sectors for clean energy is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in strategic planning, project oversight, and budget management in complex, multi-stakeholder or international environments.
  • Familiarity with philanthropic, nonprofit, coalition, advocacy, or legislative communities is preferred.
  • Experience working in a global matrixed team.
  • Ability to work efficiently both virtually and in person with minimal supervision.
  • Strong relationship-building and problem-solving orientation with a service mindset.
  • Ability to communicate success stories and the impact of the work.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of ClimateWorks Foundation.
  • Located within 4-5 hours of CET time zone, ideally in Europe or the US East Coast, and able to work across multiple global time zones.
