Description

  • Analyze personal and business financial statements and credit requests for current and prospective borrowers.
  • Evaluate financial documents, reports, scenarios, and related information with strong attention to detail.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan approval packages that summarize credit analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify policy exceptions and ensure loan documentation is accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Present recommendations to senior management and credit committees.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolio performance and complete required reporting.
  • Assist with due diligence for audits and exams.
  • Maintain loan-related databases and use Excel and Power BI to build and update reports.
  • Handle customer, employee, and management interactions professionally and tactfully.
  • Support compliance, regulatory training, and fraud prevention efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance.
  • Prior banking experience preferred.
  • Experience analyzing financial documents and reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Microsoft Power BI skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and interact effectively with customers, employees, management, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and know when to ask questions or escalate.
  • Knowledge of banking, credit analysis, loan documentation, and portfolio monitoring preferred or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented work habits.
  • Comfort working through credit committee, audit, and compliance processes.
