Description

  • Support and guide ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects across cases, chat, Slack, community channels, and meetings.
  • Triages support tickets and deliver first-line technical support within required SLAs.
  • Provide professional on-call coverage and technical guidance through ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and phone.
  • Develop solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and ClickHouse open-source that can be reused in documentation, knowledge base articles, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training.
  • Partner with Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, and Product Management to define needed functionality and improve the product and support experience.
  • Assist with pre-sales and post-sales customer activities, including technically deep POC work.
  • Mentor, train, and share knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Suggest improvements to support processes and operations.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or ClickHouse Cloud, or in related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, or distributed systems.
  • Previous technical experience in a role such as Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
  • Availability to work on a scheduled basis to support high-quality 24x7 global support coverage.
  • Ability to work fully remote with reliable connectivity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with empathy, global engagement, and a problem-solving approach.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn and grow continuously.
  • Experience with ClickHouse is a bonus.
  • Experience with OSS and open-source technologies is a bonus.
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS is a bonus.
  • Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a bonus.
