Description

  • Own and build key product features across frontend and backend systems that improve debugging and monitoring workflows.
  • Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to solve problems and feed customer feedback into the roadmap.
  • Tackle large-scale technical challenges in processing and analyzing petabytes of observability data.
  • Scale the cloud-hosted platform to deliver fast, reliable performance for a growing customer base.
  • Help unlock analysis tools that enable engineers to identify and resolve production issues faster.
  • Contribute to the development of a strong developer experience for the HyperDX platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a preference for building developer tools.
  • Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, including Next.js frontend and Express backend experience.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js.
  • Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Experience creating developer tooling and designing for developers.
  • A passion for open source and the developer community.
  • Experience with distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines is a bonus.
  • Experience working with columnar databases is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for building integrations is a bonus.
  • Experience with SDKs is a bonus.
