Description

  • Analyze the current technology stack and develop strategies to improve application delivery.
  • Establish milestones to measure and monitor delivery and reliability as improvements are implemented.
  • Identify manual steps in the software development lifecycle and automate them.
  • Develop a cloud migration strategy for software not currently hosted in the cloud.
  • Review infrastructure and hosting costs to identify opportunities for savings.
  • Establish DevOps best practices and mentor other engineers on enterprise-level solutions.
  • Support developers and customers using the infrastructure being developed and maintained.
  • Act as a first line of defense in protecting the platform against hackers and viruses.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and Terraform.
  • Cloud knowledge, with Google Cloud Platform preferred.
  • Experience establishing and developing continuous integration pipelines, with Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred.
  • Experience establishing and developing continuous delivery pipelines, with Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred.
  • Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure and re-platforming applications into a cloud environment.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale systems; .NET, Node, Go, Vue, and Angular experience preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
  • Current understanding of best practices for system security measures.
  • Experience working across multiple departments to support orderly project execution.
  • Must be located in the US.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
