Description

  • Optimize cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system visibility within the platform team.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of AWS environments to support scale, reliability, and compliance.
  • Improve GitHub-centric CI/CD lifecycles, including workflow automation and deployment strategies.
  • Build and maintain a proactive observability culture using metrics, tracing, logging, and alerting.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Security teams to maintain platform reliability and compliance.
  • Ensure systems remain highly available, performant, and reliable for government partners.
  • Implement infrastructure baselines that incorporate FedRAMP and GovRAMP requirements.
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and compliance auditing through infrastructure as code.
  • Create and maintain audit-ready documentation, including runbooks, diagrams, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Map technical controls to compliance frameworks and support smooth audits and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing, building, and managing complex cloud systems, ideally in FinTech, government, or similarly regulated high-availability environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and automating infrastructure to meet GovRAMP and FedRAMP security standards.
  • Experience partnering with security teams to maintain SOC2 Type 2 compliance.
  • Expert-level proficiency in AWS services such as EKS/ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and Route53.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, reusable workflow templates, secret management, and advanced deployment strategies.
  • Experience implementing zero-downtime deployment models such as Blue/Green and Canary.
  • Extensive experience with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
  • Solid understanding of Node-based systems, modern web applications, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to produce stringent, audit-ready documentation, architectural diagrams, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster accountability across engineering and security teams.
