Description

  • Complete, submit, and track manufacturer patient assistance program applications.
  • Use the Med Data platform to manage application workflows and related documentation.
  • Collect required patient documents such as proof of income, household information, income attestations, and consent forms.
  • Educate patients on application requirements, status updates, and renewal needs.
  • Coordinate with providers and prescribers to obtain signatures, electronic authorizations, and prescription documentation.
  • Maintain communication between patients, providers, pharmacy teams, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Track medication refill schedules, pickup dates, and renewal timelines to prevent treatment interruptions.
  • Manage an active pipeline of approximately 120 applications and renewals per month.
  • Maintain accurate records in NextGen, Med Data, and future eClinicalWorks systems.
  • Scan, upload, organize, and maintain documentation in compliance with company and healthcare standards.

Requirements

  • Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to patient advocacy.
  • Experience with NextGen EHR (preferred).
  • Willingness to train and transition to eClinicalWorks (preferred).
  • Experience with Patient Assistance Programs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations, care coordination, or prior authorization workflows (preferred).
  • Experience working with underserved patient populations (preferred).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (preferred).
  • Experience using medical interpretation or translation services (preferred).
