Description

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with health system counterparts across BD, Strategy, and Analytics.
  • Prepare client-facing deliverables including executive presentations, opportunity analyses, QBR materials, and progress narratives.
  • Coordinate with Strategic Value Office and BD Activation to sequence and frame work product for client impact.
  • Track engagement health across active workstreams, monitor milestones, and flag adoption risks early.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene, including pipeline data, engagement milestones, and key contacts.
  • Define the analytical questions required for each client conversation with the Strategic Value Office.
  • Translate financial models, leakage analyses, and attribution data into executive-ready narratives.
  • Manage the deliverable calendar and ensure the team has enough lead time to produce high-quality work.
  • Prepare the Head of Engagement for CFO and C-suite conversations with briefing documents and objection handling.
  • Map and maintain the stakeholder landscape and identify expansion opportunities within the account portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in healthcare strategy, consulting, or health system operations.
  • At least 2–4 years leading client-facing work or owning relationships on multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Health system domain fluency, including how health systems are organized and how BD and strategy teams operate.
  • Working knowledge of FFS and APM economics, including health system financial dynamics.
  • Experience as the primary point of contact for a client or institutional relationship.
  • Ability to produce polished executive presentations, analytical narratives, and progress materials.
  • Experience aligning cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical fluency.
  • 30–40% onsite travel across 1–2 health system accounts is required.
  • Preferred: healthcare consulting experience at Advisory Board, Sg2, Chartis, Huron, Kaufman Hall, or similar provider strategy practices.
  • Preferred: experience with health system BD strategy, network development, referral leakage analysis, or physician alignment programs.
  • Preferred: familiarity with APM programs such as MSSP, ACO REACH, TEAM bundles, or commercial VBC contracts.
  • Preferred: prior health system experience in strategy, operations, or network development.
  • Preferred: MBA from a top program with a healthcare strategy focus.
  • Preferred: experience at a health tech company in a client-facing strategy or customer success role.
  • Preferred: familiarity with referral management analytics, physician incentive programs, or VBC performance reporting.
