Description

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of distributed cloud-native systems, from infrastructure as code through production operations.
  • Create Architecture Decision Records and establish technical standards across projects.
  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into scoped, shippable technical plans.
  • Drive alignment among product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of reliable, scalable production software.
  • Improve team quality through code reviews, design critiques, and mentorship.
  • Guide the architecture and long-term evolution of solutions within a stable engineering team.

Requirements

  • C1-level or higher English proficiency.
  • Professional software development experience beyond internships.
  • Extensive JavaScript and TypeScript programming experience.
  • Experience designing and architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications with AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
  • Ability to make architectural decisions involving cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Experience with or strong interest in generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Experience across the software development life cycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Terraform or AWS CDK; Claude Code or Cursor; and AI-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
