Description

  • Serve as the primary data and technical contact for client leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead engagement delivery across scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and deliverables.
  • Build client relationships, facilitate executive discussions, and align delivery with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional consultants, analysts, developers, and technical teams.
  • Advise Higher Education clients on Ascend CRM data migration, conversion, reconciliation, integration, and data quality.
  • Write and troubleshoot complex SQL and analyze datasets for mapping, transformation, and reconciliation issues.
  • Develop data architectures, strategies, roadmaps, governance frameworks, standards, and quality controls.
  • Design integration architectures, data flows, technical requirements, and reusable integration standards.
  • Oversee integration design, development, testing, deployment, stabilization, and production troubleshooting.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide guidance on APIs, ETL/ELT, event-driven, cloud, and middleware platforms.

Requirements

  • Significant consulting experience leading complex enterprise data initiatives.
  • Experience in Higher Education, preferably Advancement, fundraising, alumni relations, or constituent data.
  • Ascend CRM implementation or migration experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong hands-on SQL development capabilities.
  • Experience with data migration, source-to-target mapping, transformation, data quality, integration, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of enterprise data architecture, data governance, integration architecture, and data management principles.
  • Experience designing or advising on API, ETL/ELT, batch, real-time, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Experience with platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Workato, Azure, AWS, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to lead client engagements, advise executive stakeholders, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills; willingness to travel periodically and support sales or business development.
