Description

  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, compliance, technology, and product teams to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately.
  • Identify operational pain points and propose product and process improvements that improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, user interviews, and cross-departmental workshops.
  • Document product updates, release notes, and user-facing training materials.
  • Support enterprise initiatives such as digital transformation and automation.
  • Maintain clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use Claude to speed up analysis, documentation, and research while validating outputs with critical judgment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or product and technology roles.
  • Proven track record of gathering and documenting business requirements, workflows, and user stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with large data sets.
  • Experience in functional testing, defect tracking, and cross-team validation.
  • Practical experience using Claude or comparable AI assistants in day-to-day work.
  • Experience within the mortgage industry (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of mortgage regulations and investor guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with core mortgage platforms and enterprise systems (preferred).
