Description

  • Translate digital event data from web and app channels into user behavior models.
  • Develop exploratory and advanced analyses to identify patterns, journeys, and friction points.
  • Generate actionable insights that inform product, marketing, and customer experience decisions.
  • Define analytical hypotheses and validate them through testing and experimentation.
  • Design, develop, and scale machine learning and AI models focused on behavior and personalization.
  • Implement experimentation strategies such as A/B testing, causal inference, and uplift modeling.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics squads to ensure correct instrumentation and data quality.
  • Evolve frameworks and methodologies for measuring behavior and the impact of initiatives.
  • Support data democratization by making insights clear and understandable to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Strong experience analyzing digital behavioral data, including front-end events, tracking, and user journeys.
  • Advanced Python skills, including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and pytorch/tensorflow.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and analytical modeling.
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
  • Experience with predictive and behavioral segmentation models.
  • Experience with time series analysis and journey analysis.
  • Experience with tracking and analytics tools such as GA, Adobe, Tealium, or Snowplow.
  • Strong knowledge of experimentation techniques and causal inference.
  • Familiarity with cloud data environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Preferred experience applying AI to user behavior, including recommendation and personalization at scale.
  • Preferred experience with predictive models for churn, conversion, and engagement.
  • Preferred experience with deep learning or generative models.
  • Preferred experience working in digital product or growth teams.
  • Preferred knowledge of event-driven data architecture.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear executive-level narratives.
  • Investigative mindset with a hypothesis-driven approach.
