Description

  • Define architecture standards for generative AI solutions and guide design decisions across multiple squads and products.
  • Design, develop, and integrate end-to-end conversational AI solutions with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Build and evolve AI agents and intelligent automations, including multi-agent workflows where applicable.
  • Explore and implement AI-assisted engineering practices such as code generation, refactoring, and testing support.
  • Define and implement security and governance strategies for language models, including protections against prompt injection and sensitive data leakage.
  • Connect generative AI models with internal APIs and establish reusable integration patterns.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts from ideation through validation, QA, feasibility assessment, and production transition.
  • Define and evolve testing pipelines for non-deterministic generative AI flows to ensure response quality.
  • Support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, technical leadership, and QA teams to translate business goals into architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML projects and experience leading projects or technical teams.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, and React, plus solid API development experience using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
  • Solid experience building applications with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Llama.
  • Experience with advanced prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, and embeddings.
  • Experience building or integrating AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
  • Strong experience developing cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS using Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Ability to make architectural decisions balancing cost, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Solid experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and MLOps practices for machine learning systems.
  • Experience monitoring and observing models in production is required.
  • Nice to have: Anthropic/Claude API certification, multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen, AI-assisted modernization and legacy migration experience, healthcare/healthtech domain experience, Kubernetes and container automation, and prior technical mentorship experience.
