Description

  • Collaborate with software architects and development teams to define infrastructure requirements and platform solutions.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket.
  • Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation for AWS infrastructure.
  • Conduct proofs of concept to evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
  • Integrate security best practices into architecture and deployment processes.
  • Mentor DevOps team members and support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Engage with clients to understand needs, prioritize work, plan solutions, and manage timeline expectations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on platform architecture and scalable infrastructure design.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team, with strong leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Proficiency in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS and infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience performing PoCs and evaluating new tools and technologies.
  • Security-focused mindset with experience applying best practices in cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and client engagement.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.
  • Previous experience in software development or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is preferred.
  • Experience designing or contributing to platform-level architecture and infrastructure strategies is preferred.
