Description

  • Develop and maintain backend applications with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and software engineering best practices.
  • Build and support internal applications using microservices, REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud services.
  • Design and implement resilient solutions using patterns such as Rate Limit, Circuit Breaker, and Retry.
  • Ensure idempotency and secure access through authentication and authorization best practices.
  • Develop new features and answer technical questions in alignment with the Product Owner.
  • Support production operations by investigating incidents, fixing root causes, and tracking security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including Scrum and Kanban, contributing to technical refinement, estimates, and planning.
  • Support backlog refinement and help define non-functional requirements for prioritized features.
  • Apply TDD, BDD, and CI/CD practices to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to strengthen technical and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Strong backend development experience with Java 17 or newer.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of observability tools.
  • Knowledge of security practices, structured logging, and API versioning.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Ability to take ownership of architectural decisions.
  • Ability to lead technical solution design.
  • Must be willing to work remotely, with mandatory in-office presence if located in the Campinas metropolitan region.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, and CI/CD practices is expected.
