Description

  • Work as part of an Agile development team delivering high-quality software into production.
  • Take a test-first approach from business requirements through to code.
  • Continuously develop and improve code and technology while helping shape new features.
  • Write high-quality code that can handle hyper-scale demand.
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to their day-to-day development.
  • Participate in internal and external hackathons, knowledge sharing, and engineering improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and contribute to code reviews, stand-ups, retrospectives, and 3 Amigos sessions.
  • Support technical decision-making, including vendor and technology selection.
  • Refine requirements with senior business stakeholders.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team culture.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with C#/.NET software development and delivering production code in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience delivering highly scalable software with containerization and AKS.
  • Practical experience with Bicep, Terraform, and ARM templates.
  • Strong experience with Azure; Microsoft certification is desirable.
  • Experience with optimization, memory management, monitoring, alerting, and advanced debugging techniques.
  • Understanding of data warehousing strategies.
  • Expertise in user testing and analytics frameworks.
  • Knowledge of secure development practices, including OWASP Top 10.
  • Expertise in continuous delivery/deployment and improving delivery practices.
  • Confidence speaking with senior business stakeholders and refining requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural patterns and design practices.
  • Experience or willingness to learn front-end technologies such as Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Interest in mentoring junior team members and contributing to working groups.
