Description

  • Establish the BCMS governance framework, including scope, policy, RACI matrix, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Design and implement document control standards for BCMS artifacts, including versioning, format, and distribution.
  • Facilitate Business Impact Analysis interviews with department champions and subject matter experts.
  • Create new BIAs for departments with no existing coverage and refresh existing BIAs with current MTD, RTO, and RPO values.
  • Consolidate BIA findings into a cross-departmental risk register with recovery priorities.
  • Develop the IT Disaster Recovery Plan in collaboration with IT leadership and infrastructure teams.
  • Author incident response, crisis communication, BC strategies, and department-level business continuity plans.
  • Create and maintain emergency contact lists and plan distribution records.
  • Design and facilitate tabletop exercises, then produce post-exercise reports with lessons learned and corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal BCMS audits, support the management review cycle, and deliver certification readiness assessment results.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing or maturing BCMS programs in regulated or complex operational environments.
  • Experience facilitating Business Impact Analysis across multiple departments with different levels of BC maturity.
  • Experience developing BC/DR plans, incident response procedures, and crisis communication frameworks.
  • Experience designing and facilitating tabletop exercises and producing actionable post-exercise reports.
  • Experience conducting internal audits against ISO management system standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole program driver with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written communication skills for policy, plan, and report authoring.
  • Fluent English skills, with daily interaction with native English speakers.
  • Proven track record working with U.S.-based companies, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related roles, preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 31000, HITRUST CSF, HIPAA, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, CBCP, MBCI, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, preferred.
