Description

  • Own and evolve the layered dbt data model for reliable consumption in Power BI and downstream applications.
  • Develop and maintain modular, tested, documented data transformation workflows using dbt and SQL.
  • Extend data models to support the pricing engine MVP, including item categorization and price elasticity analysis.
  • Harmonize KPI definitions and calculations across regions to support a consistent pricing methodology.
  • Build and optimize analytical data solutions using Databricks and Azure.
  • Use Python for data processing, analysis, and automation.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI data models for accurate reporting and business insights.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, usability, and validation across analytical models.
  • Translate requirements from business, data, and regional stakeholders into scalable data solutions.
  • Improve data architecture, modeling practices, testing, documentation, lineage, and governance standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related data-focused role.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on dbt experience.
  • Experience designing and maintaining layered data models for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Experience with Databricks and Azure data environments.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, or automation.
  • Experience with Power BI data modeling and reporting preparation.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and consistent metric definitions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust, reusable data models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with pricing, revenue optimization, commercial analytics, price elasticity, product categorization, or pricing performance metrics is preferred.
  • Experience harmonizing KPIs across regions and familiarity with modern scalable data platforms, testing, documentation, lineage, and governance are preferred.
